The looting starts in 3... 2... 1...

In the 4/8/09 USA Today there is an article on 61 housing authorities throughout the country that are receiving $600 million in stimulus money despite having been cited by HUD as chronicly failing audits.

And of the $600 million in tax payer funds which housing authority do you think gets 25% of it?

Here's a hint, it sits on the banks of Lake Michigan. No other city even comes close to the largesse being poured into the nation's biggest failure of a housing authority.

Good thing Joe Biden has a website telling us where the stimulus money is going and how it is being spent. Otherwise I'd question the wisdom of sending millions to people who can't balance a checkbook.
